Picks the scene for each cut and the effect on each kick, so effects do not repeat the same way every beat, and double checks a drop it is unsure about. On Max it also asks a fast decision model (Jev by TypeSafe AI) when it is available, and uses the built in rules when it is not.

Which drop

Clip speed

Footage plays at this speed. Edix trims long scenes from both ends instead of speeding them up.

Speed after the drop

Left alone, each style uses its own speed shape. A curve you draw replaces them all.

Off by default: every shot uses footage that shows up nowhere else in the edit.

Color

Drops intros, outros and end screens. Shorter clips skip a smaller part.
